Worship and Learning

Service of Healing, Wholeness, and Hope

To understand our wellness as whole persons, we must consider the health of our mind, body, and spirit.  This whole person health includes our emotional, spiritual, financial, relationship, and communal health, as well as physical health.  If any one of these aspects of our lives are not healthy, the whole person is not well.

Each of us struggles to find a healthy balance, yet discouragement comes when life knocks us down with challenges, hurts, and disappointments.  If you are longing for healing and are hoping to find the wholeness that God offers, come worship with us.

Life is messy; come as you are.

What you can expect from worship.

Ecumenical Communion Service

Sunday February 26, 2017 - 10:00 a.m.

(1 hour later than our usual time)

On the Sunday before Ash Wednesday each year we gather with the congregations of First Presbyterian Church of Shawano and Church on the hill United Methodist Church of Shawano for a service of joint worship and celebration.  We celebrate the sacrament of communion that Sunday as an act of Christian witness to God's love and care for all people.

All people are invited to join us for this celebration.

Worship at Peace United Church of Christ is intended to glorify and praise God as it helps participants encounter God in ways that both uplift and challenge.

Worship reminds us of our identity and our destiny.  We are all God’s beloved children.heart

Each year we set aside one Sunday in August for worship and a picnic at Kuckuk Park. Worship is interactive. Music is upbeat and joy filled. Art tables are set up for everyone's enjoyment.  There are games for the children and great food for everyone.
